Louis Rawlings and Moishe Hasid bagged doubles as Maccabi Manchester 3rds climbed the table.

Their game against Reich Insurance Rangers survived the big chill while all the other remaiing MJSL fixtures fell victim to frozen pitches.

Sammy Barron’s long-range free-kick saw the hosts gifted an early lead.

But Rawlings and Hasid both scored two in either half to ensure Maccabi Manchester 3rds exploited their chance to jump up into third spot.

Maccabi boss Richard Hamburger told JC Sport: "It was a good win in tricky conditions.

"We were perhaps fortunate that our pitch thawed out in time to start 15 minutes late.

"We wanted to make the most of our game being on and we did so."
