South maintained their 100 per cent start to the season with a four-wicket win against West Didsbury in the GMACL.

Didsbury elected to bat first in difficult conditions and made a steady start. However, wickets began to fall on a regular basis and none of the Didsbury batsmen managed to settle.

Dan Glicher was the pick of the South bowlers, taking 4-26, and was well supported by Dan Paul who bowled a miserly 10 overs taking 2-16. Dan Franks and David Cohen chipped in with a couple each restricting Didsbury to 128.

South started their reply well with Steve Glicher and Koffman building a solid platform again putting on 52. Glicher finished on 26 and then South seemed to have their customary mid-innings wobble before Akiva Lieberman took control finishing unbeaten on 42 to take South to victory.
