American ace Jessie Levine made an excellent start at Wimbledon, with a first-round victory over Karol Beck on Day Two.
Left-hander Levine, 24, won a hard-fought first set with a crucial break before the experienced Beck, 30, rallied to win even things up in a second set tie-break.
Levine managed to find a couple of extra gears to win 6-4, 6-7, 6-3, 6-2 set up a second round clash against David Gofin of Belgium.
Israel's Dudi Sela and Shahar Peer were in action late on Tuesday, but the matches were suspended due to bad light.
