Daniel Kristall is eyeing a top-three finish after Leeds Maccabi 2nds' mid-season resurgence continued.

The Yorkshire side won for the third game on the bounce after putting Maccabi Manchester 3rds young guns to the sword.

Jonny Goldstone's double sent him soaring to the top of the league’s goalscoring charts and Mark Korn, who later blotted his copybook with an injury-time red card, also weighed in.

Kristall said: "We are coming together now and this was our best win of the season.

"It has taken us a bit of time to find our feet and the managerial change, with Marshall Freeze standing-down, was always going to affect us.

"But we feel we still have more to offer. I believe we should have been pushing for the title.

"There is no reason why we can’t finish in the top-three as we have clawed ourselves back into contention."

Louis Rawlings struck twice for Maccabi Manchester 3rds.
