Lederman leads the way

Benjamin Lederman has won the Player of the Year award at London Maccabi Vale.

The all-rounder, 17, was the club's star player in a season where they finished fourth in Division One of the Middlesex Sunday League.

Jonny Gould received the Most Improved Player accolade. He was described by club chairman Terry Hyman as "an outstanding prospect".

Jon Daniels, who manages the club's colts section, collected the Alan Shapiro Clubman of the Year trophy.

Neil Lederman, 22, has been appointed LMV 1st XI captain for next season. All-rounder Daniel Caplan will skipper the 2nd XI.
