David Garbacz described Avi Korman as the best player in the MGBSFL after Hendon finished the weekend top of the table after an emphatic 4-0 success over Brady.

Zac Lewis (2), Avi Korman and Dovi Fehler were the marksmen as Hendon capitalised on RJC's first defeat to complete a memorable morning at Rowley Lane.

Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport; "We were delighted to get back to winning ways today against a pretty decent Brady team.

"Some of the football we played in the first half today was reminiscent of Barcelona at their best and no team in the league would have been able to live with our pace and movement.

"We weren't quite able to match that level in the second half but were still able to see out the game quite comfortably."

Garbacz was particularly pleased with two aspects of the performance. He added: "It was good to see Dovi Fehler back amongst the goals today and Avi Korman produced yet another pearler to add to his reputation. If there is a better player in the league at the moment I'd like to see him.

"We certainly weren't expecting the boost we got from the result in the Redbridge game as we arrived home for lunch - I nearly choked on my salmon bagel and I will be sending the Camden management a bottle of Israels finest as a thank you.

"We are delighted to go back top today and as long as we play up to the standards we showed today we won't be relinquishing that spot."
