Klinger honoured to be Gloucester skipper

articlemain

Michael Klinger says he feels honoured after being appointed captain of Gloucestershire.

Klinger, 32, is relishing his first full season in the County Championship following a short spell at Worcestershire last year.

"It's always been a long-term ambition of mine to play a full season of county cricket," said Klinger.

"Joining as club captain is a huge honour for me.

"I look forward to bringing the experience I have gained around the world in the likes of state cricket, Big Bash, IPL and Champions League to the squad."
