Jewish ladies golf tournament set for Hartsbourne

Thirteen clubs will battle it out for the title of top team at the Ladies National Tournament at Hartsbourne on May 27.

The female equivalent of the Glancy, the competition will feature women golfers from all the Jewish Golf Clubs and Societies throughout the UK and
Ireland.

Surrey-based Coombe Hill will defend the Dyrham Park Trophy for the best Team Gross score while Dublin's Edmondstown stake their Shirley Trophy, for the best Team Nett on the line.

There are also trophies for Singles Gross and Nett, Fourball Gross and Nett, Combined Singles and Fourballs, Team Singles and Team Fourballs.

The participating clubs are: Abridge Golf & Country Club, Bonnyton Golf Club, Coombe Hill Golf Club, Dunham Forest Golf Club, Dyrham Park Country Club, Edmondstown Golf Club, Hartsbourne Country Club, Lee Park Golf Club, Moor Allerton Golf Club, Potters Bar Golf Club, Shirley, Whitefield and a Combined Societies Team, who are made up of ladies who belong to a Jewish Golf Society although not a Jewish Golf Club.
