Team Maccabi GB have made a flying start to the JCC Games in Fort Lauderdale.

Joe Kaye and Nathan Sonn secured bronze in the U14 Team event in Table Tennis.

Dylan Goldstein and Oliver Adler WIN Bronze in 15-16 Table Tennis Team Competition.

Rachel Ayrton won double bronze in the U16 Swimming competition, with Jacob Steinberg finishing third in the 200m relay.

There were also bronze medals for Hannah Grunwerg, Annabel Anisfeld and Maya Vandermolen in the Dancing competition.

The delegation’s tennis players also made a strong start, with Ben Sweiry, Tom Miller, Alex Kurtz Jordan, George Bier, Jack Campbell, Charlotte Salt, Sam Radivan, Annabelle Permutt, Darcey Goldstein and Noah Bass claiming impressive victories.

GB’s U14 Boys football team opened their account in convincing style. Daniel Jackson, Dylan Gordon (2) and Dylan Bull registered in a 4-2 win over East Bay. That was followed by a 7-0 victory over North Miami Beach with strikes from Dylan Gordon (3), Ethan Kessel (2), Max Leader and Leor Nassim.

The U16 girls football team recovered from a heavy opening defeat to draw 5-5 against North Miami Beach thanks to goals from Rio Rosenberg (2), Tabatha Cowan, Maxine Hotz and Eve Lewis.
