NORTH WEST NEASDEN A 0 BRIXTON OLD BOYS A 2
Strikes from James Kaye and Alon Hershkorn saw Brixton cause one of the biggest shocks in MSFL history as they dumped former winners Neasden out of the cup.

SHOCK TWO

FAITHFOLD HIT FAMOUS FIVE TO KO MONTANA
MONTANA BOCA UNITED 1 FAITHFOLD C 5
Cup kings Faithfold C did it again, sticking five past first division Montana in the process.

There were goals for Scott Ackerman, Ben Portnoi, Joe Levy, Simon Beresford and Matt Smith to clinch a memorable win for David Garson's men.

Montana's consolation came through Mitch Green.

Faithfold manager David Garson told JC Sport: "We played very well and knocked the ball about very well, and at no point were we not in control.

"I can't quite believe we are in the quarter-finals as outside of our three cup games against division one teams, our best result has been a draw ... now if we can just transfer our cup form into the league."

Montana confirmed on Monday morning that they have parted company with manager Vivian Emanuel after a string of poor results. Marc Zeidman and Nick Goodmaker will take charge for the foreseeable future.

NEASDEN WIN THE HARD WAY
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB C 3 NORTH WEST NEASDEN C 6
Neasden won a nine-goal thriller in west Hendon with strikes from player-manager Louis Taylor, Jon Benjamin, Richie Braham, Rafi Cohen, Adam Levene and Oli Joseph.

NWN boss Louis Taylor told JC Sport: "It was a game where we made things much harder for ourselves than we had to. Despite being by far the better team, and taking the lead, we founded ourselves 2-1 down at half time.

"An equaliser from Jon Benjamin in the second half should have seen us push on but we were instead behind again after a mix-up in defence.

"However, we equalised again and this time went for the kill, giving us the win that we deserved.

"I'm happy we won, but I'd like to stop giving teams a head-start in our matches!"
