THREE CHEERS FOR CHIGWELL
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 1 CHIGWELL ATHLETIC 3
Goals from Glenn Michaels, Daniel Castle and Antony Mendel helped Chigwell win their second consecutive east London derby at the expense of Division One rivals Redbridge B at Fairlop.

Chigwell stormed into a 3-0 lead after 35 minutes before RJC pulled one back on stroke of half time after a misjudged back header from Chigwell defence, with Dan Orgel converting.

Redbridge finished with 10 men after Richie Caplin was sent off for two bookable offences.

RAIDERS TWO GOOD FOR NEASDEN B
NORTH WEST NEASDEN B 0 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A 2
A goal in each half from Alex Olcot and Toby Katz helped Raiders complete back-to-back wins with a comfortable victory over Neasden B at Gosling.

Neasden finished with 10 men after striker Jason Lindsay received a straight red for kicking out at Raiders defender Carl Peters.

Raiders joint-manager Danny Caro said: "We weren't at our best today but are pleased with the win nonetheless.

"The surface made it hard to play good football but the boys were patient and I think the first goal helped us settle.

"Everyone chipped in today. It was good to have Alex back in the fold and there was a nice cameo from Oli Henry. Dan Cohen made a crucial save early in the second half and Toby took his goal very well.

"But with matches against Hendon, Neasden and Faithfold to come over the next few weeks, there is still a lot of room for improvement."

NEASDEN EDGE PAST BILBAUM
ATHLETIC BILBAUM 0 NORTH WEST NEASDEN A 2
There was a truly heroic performance from fourth division Athletic Bilbaum who restricted cup hopefuls Neasden A to just the two goals.

It needed a wonder goal from David Fox and a cheeky back-heel from Danny Daggers to help the Premier Division giants edge into the next round.

NWN boss Darren Yarlett told JC Sport: "We were able to give four or five of the lads who haven't played as much a run out and rest some players.

"It was a good work-out. Credit to Athletic who were always looking to play football and play the game in the right way. It was a pleasant change this week to see a side pass on the floor."

Bilbaum player-boss Mark Pasha told JC Sport: "Despite the loss, it was another performance to be proud of and the Baums could hold their heads high as the left the Bernebaum. Every player gave it their all and frustrated the NWN players, who had expected to notch up a cricket score.

"In the end though Neasden had just a little too much but it could have been different had Bilbaum taken a couple of their early chances. A special mention to the brothers Roth. Simon, in goal, who pulled off a string of world-class saves diving to his right and left, up and down to keep the Bilbaum in the game, as well as executing a near perfect kick all afternoon; and to Sam in defensive midfield who had an epic afternoon putting in vital challenges and harassing the Neasden midfield and attack all morning."

"FC Team C are a good team and they had some good attacks but were unable to finish. We showed some great football and were strong in the middle. We took the game to them and won. I am happy.

"We welcomed back Virgil Levy after six weeks out and Zaki Kramer after two months out due to an injury."
