LAZARE SHINES BRIGHTLY FOR BRADY
BRADY MACCABI A 7 LONDON MACCABI LIONS A 5
Brady won the clash of the cup kings, with MARC LAZARE firing a stunning four-goal salvo in a 12-goal thriller at the Lane.

Further strikes from Rob Lerner, Alex Hershman and an own goal helped Brady beat the Lions for the second time this season.

Lions's goals came through Tony Gold, Benji Weinberger (2), James Gershfield and Danny Daggers.

Brady joint-manager Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "We continue our unbeaten run and, as I have said before, that is our aim so we have two more games left to achieve that."

Lions boss Andy Landesberg told JC Sport: "It has been a very interesting season for us, but all in all we have to be happy with a cup and a vastly improved league position."

HAMMERS SEAL SECOND PLACE
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A 3 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A 2
An Avidan Last double helped Hendon clinch the runners-up spot as they ended the season with three points following a thriller against Raiders.

Greg Corin scored Hendon's other as David Garbacz's men sealed their 11th win of the campaign.

Raiders's goals came through Darren Russell and Ethan Zone.

Hendon manager David Garbacz told JC Sport: "With not a lot riding on the game, it was tricky to keep a decent intensity to our play, but we did our best and came away with an important win in the end.

Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "Unfortunately when it looked like we had done the hard work we switched off right at the last moment and Hendon pinched the win. The attitude was spot on and despite losing I'm so impressed by our performance."

SUPER SAM INSPIRES FAITHFOLD
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 0 FAITHFOLD A 4
Two goals from midfield maestro Sam Reeves took newly-crowned champions Faithfold past the 40 point mark as they outclassed Redbridge at Fairlop.

Captain marvel Alex Levack and Dan Perkins helped the Superhoops complete a league double over RJC.

Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "We dominated, albeit Redbridge were not at full-strength, but we also had only 11 players. Everyone put in a good shift today as champions and I told the boys to savour the moment as they have been worthy of winning the league.

"Today some of football was breathtaking and clinical finishes to finish. We yet again kept a clean sheet which is now six in the last seven which shows why we are where we are."

CLASSY CRAWFORD ENDS BILBAUM HOPES
ATHLETIC BILBAUM 0 GLENTHORNE UNITED B 1
Jamie Crawford scored the only goal as Glenthorne B ended Bilbaum's automatic promotion hopes in a hard fought contest.

The decisive moment saw Crawford complete a lovely Glenthorne move, and after seeing the keeper off his line he curled the ball over his head.

Glenthorne joint-player-manager Liam Stein told JC Sport: "I'm really pleased with today's performance from everyone. We have finally found the form Jordan and I knew we had, but unfortunately for us its just a little bit too late.

"I’m looking forward to finishing off the season in style with the derby against Redbridge next week."

Baums joint-manager Mark Pasha told JC Sport: "It was a game played in good spirit and which was very well contested throughout. Quite how we weren't several goals to the good at half-time is still a mystery to the Baum soothsayers, and sadly we were made to pay for it in the second half."

SUPER SHAW INSPIRES BLIZZARD
BLIZZARD STORM 4 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 2
Blizzard Storm completed one of the comebacks of the day, as goals from Michael Woolf (2), Dean Shaw and Stuart Muller kept alive their hopes of avoiding the drop in a thriller against Redbridge B.

Having seen his troops come from 2-0 down to win 4-2, Blizzard boss Simon Linden told JC Sport: "I feel like I kicked every ball, running up and down the touchline Paulo Di Canio style - I've never wanted a win for the team more, when I heard that Catford lost and us winning we firmly believe we can do this.

"2-0 down but for once we broke the barrier and had plenty of time to get ourselves back in it and win the match.

"There were great performances from Woolf, Muller, Stolerman, but man of the match for me was Dean Shaw."

"We live another week, but now have a massive game against Raiders next week."

Blancos player-manager Adam Hersh told JC Sport: "It was ultimately a deserved three points, and despite LB making a meal of it at times, we won't care one bit as long as the points go on the board.

"A win against Norstar B in two weeks time will see us clinch second place, and most importantly promotion to Division One."
