Adam Lavin, Mark Addis and Tom Cantor were among the scorers in the second half as South booked a possible last eight clash against the winner of the tie between Norstar A, Hendon A or Woodford.

After the game it was confirmed that the unlucky Parry had suffered a compound fracture and broken his left arm in two places and was set to undergo on Monday.

HENDON HAVE THE LAST LAUGH
OAKWOOD A 0 HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A 3
Defending champions Hendon boosted their hopes of retaining the title with an impressive victory over the Oaks at Parmiters, thanks to goals from Ari Last, Avidan Last and Yishai Last which took them four points clear at the top.

Jubilant Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "We put in a fabulous shift today. This was an all-round team effort with everyone working their socks off and overall we out-battled and out-fought an excellent Oakwood team where ultimately our extra desire saw us home.

"I love Oakwood's attitude - they never give up and have some great players - I thought Josh Bentley was superb - but eventually our extra experience told and took us through to another three massive points.

"Today was a real old school Sunday morning battle which was really well refereed, marvellous to watch and no doubt, great fun to play in. We will not be giving up our title without an enormous fight I can promise you that."

Disappointed Oakwood joint-manager Ric Blank told JC Sport: "We were gutted to lose a game in which for huge chunks, we were the better side.

"I haven't seen Faithfold or Redbridge yet but I'd be surprised if anyone pips Hendon this season. They don't have outstanding individuals (a la Lions or Faithfold) but they work unbelievably hard as a unit and haven't put a foot wrong in the three games we've had. In all honesty, that's the difference between us and them at this moment in time."

SUPER SHIRLEY MAKE LIONS PAY THE PENALTY

The visitors were helped along the way with two penalties in an epic contest in which Dan Oade got the other.

Joey Lazare bagged a brace for the Lions, with two close-range finishes.

Jubilant Park player-manager Dave Lusman told JC Sport: "It was a good show form Park - each player put in a solid performance and we proved to be tough to break down. I was really pleased with our work-rate and commitment across the field.

"The victory was well deserved, we were the stronger team in the first, and in the second we gave as good as we got."

Lions boss Jamie Kyte told JC Sport: "It was an average performance from us this week. Against Shirley Park, who score goals for fun, you've got to make sure you never switch off. We pulled it back twice but gave away soft goals immediately after both times."

HAHN THE HERO FOR WOODFORD
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB B 1 WOODFORD WANDERERS 9
Magic man MITCH HAHN hit six of the best as Woodford eased relegation fears with a handsome win over Hendon B in west Hendon.

Dean Green, Elliot Gold and Jamie Golding joined the party, but it was Hahn who stole the headlines.

Hendon's consolation came through Tali Nevies.

"This was a much-needed win for us today," Woodford gaffer Paul Hyams told JC Sport. "We have two tough games to come first we have a local derby against Glenthorne at home and then we travel back to north London to play Hendon A in the Peter Morrison cup. If we can stay consistent we are more then capable of climbing the league and giving Hendon a game in the cup."

Chairman Alex Aviram was more than delighted with today's win he said it shows "we have great bounceback ability".

Hendon joint-manager Motty Korman told JC Sport: "I wasn't there yesterday so can't comment but presume it wasnt a good performance and Mitch Hahn is a quality player the tears apart most defences - we were just unlucky he decided to play yesterday..... still have 10 games to play this season and promotion is no longer possible so the pressure is off us and we can enjoy the rest of the season."

BRADY B DELIVER FAMOUS FIVE
GLENTHORNE UNITED B 2 BRADY MACCABI B 5
Division Two leaders Brady B registered their 10th win of the season as they claimed an emphatic 5-2 victory at Ford Sports & Social.

Brady's goals came through Josh Dagul, James Joseph, Reiss Mogilner, Jon Green and Josh Newman.

Glenthorne's goals came through Jamie Bernstein and Jamie Crawford.

Delighted Brady player-manager Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "Today was another fantastic away win. It's always hard going to Essex and to get the win was very important.

"We are on an excellent run in the league and want to keep it up in our chase of a consecutive league title."

Glenthorne joint-player-manager Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "First things first, it was never a 5-2 game, we were absolutely superb in the first half keeping the ball and playing some lovely football. Both defences were cancelling eachother out and the only chance was put away with a superb finish.

"Second half saw us lose our momentum and Brady took advantage of some sloppy defending."

RED-HOT REDBRIDGE STUN BAUMS
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 4 ATHLETIC BILBAUM 1
A double from BEN BINDER enabled Jon Jacobs' Redbridge B to record one of the results of the day as they hammered title-chasing Bilbaum 4-1 at Fairlop.

Richard Angel grabbed a consolation for the Baums.

Bilbaum joint-player-manager Mark Pasha told JC Sport: "It was far from vintage from the Baums on a rainy February morning, somewhere near the outer Hebrides. We needed a lot more all over the park from what was already a thin squad, but you can only beat what's in front of you and Redbridge did that with aplomb today.

"No doubt a significant set back, but a Baum knows not when he's beaten ... on to next week."

SUPER SINAI IS THE SAVIOUR FOR CATFORD
CATFORD & BROMLEY MACCABI 1 FC TEAM B 0
Jamie Sinai earned what could prove to be a priceless victory for struggling Catford & Bromley as they edged past FC Team B at Norsemen FC.

Sinai struck late on after Jonny Lee broke down the right, beating two men before driving into the area and firing a shot which the Team keeper couldn't hold and poacher extraordinaire Sinai was on hand to stick the ball in.

Catford & Bromley captain Adam Luria told JC Sport: "It was a very even game, but it was brilliant to get the win and hopefully we can take that same performance level forward to the rest of the season as we need some more wins to get ourselves out of trouble."

OAKS OPEN UP THREE POINT LEAD
LOUGHTON ORIENT 0 OAKWOOD B 2
Oakwood B moved clear at the top as strikes from Ben Myers and Marc Hymanson steered them past Loughton Orient in Walthamstow.

Oaks boss Ian Tussie told JC Sport: "People questioned whether we could deal with a cold Sunday morning in Walthamstow and Loughton's direct style and I think we've went and shown what we're all about and we've came away with the three points."

Manager Dan Curtis told JC Sport: "We had a shaky start to the game which ultimately cost us, however I thought we were the better side for large parts of the match and were unlucky not to get back in it.

"I'm proud of the boys response and if we put that level of commitment in every week we will win more games than we lose and climb up the table."
