Class told in the end in West Hendon as Premier Division leaders Hendon hit the Chigs for six, although they late it very late with five goals in the last 15 minutes.
A shocked looked on the cards early on after Glenn Michaels put the visitors ahead from the penalty spot.
Josh Bentley hauled Hendon level from with a bicycle kick, and the north Londoners stepped up a gear in the final third of the tie with goals from Ben Kon, Avidan Last (2) and the inspirational Greg Corin to put the result beyond doubt.
David Garbacz, the Hendon manager, told JC Sport: “We played very well except the first 20 minutes and created a host of chances. I think that the key difference this season is that we’ve got a bigger squad, with Ben and Raphael Kon coming in, and Josh Bentley and Greg Corin fully fit.
“We are definitely capable of winning the double if we continue in our current vein of form.”
Chigwell manager Richard Slater, who was left without any substitutes said: “The boys were brilliant for 75 minutes. Our effort was good throughout, but unfortunately fitness told in the end. But considering we were missing key men I am happy we pushed them for so long.”

Two goals from Igal Yahya inspired the Raiders to a memorable win at Rowley Lane.
The visitors twice came from behind with Andrew McMaster and Jamie Wolfson completing the comeback as the Raiders clinched a league double over the JC League Cup holders.
Sam Arghebant and Lee Bibring were the marksmen for Lions.
Adam Fegan, Raiders' joint-manager, said: "I'm so proud of the boys. It is a huge achievement to beat a team like Lions on their home pitch, especially after being behind in the match twice.
"I felt the first half was very even with us probably shading possession first 30 minutes but without creating much, and Lions coming more into it last 15. Second half Lions were certainly on top, but we were extremely disciplined and organised and showed great fight. We defended well and took our chances and that was the difference.
"We were missing our three regular strikers but Igal, playing his first 90 minutes of the season, was fantastic and thoroughly deserved his goals. McMaster was also excellent in centre midfield. It is very pleasing when boys who have not featured that much recently stake a claim to be starting and it shows the depth in squad we are developing at Raiders.
Raiders' Danny Caro said: "We had a game-plan and credit to the boys who, despite falling behind twice, showed tremendous spirit, determination and commitment to come back. I'm proud of them."

A fab five-goal salvo from summer signing, midfield maestro ALEX KAYE eased Faithfold home in a one-sided contest.
Further strikes from Daryl Phillips, Mike Pearson, JC star man Jonny Haik and an own goal completed the rout.
Faithfold raced into a 3-0 lead inside the opening 25 minutes. Ben Graham, with a stunning strike from long distance, and Grant Taylor, with a header from a corner, put Harmen back in the game.
Daryl Phillips, the Faithfold player-manager told JC Sport: "It was a great football performance all round from my boys,from the starting 11all the way through to my subs that came on. Alex Kaye was exceptional. Everything he hit went in today as well as running from box to box for 90 minutes showing great work-rate.
"It's a nice start to 2011 however its just the begining and we will be trying to continue this form through the season."
Harmen boss Dan Uzan told JC Sport: "We were 3-0 after 25 minutes. We went in at half time 3-2 down, but quite confindent. We actually played very well in the second half.
"The second half was a combination of excellent football by Faithfold and a lack of confidence by my boys. There is no doubt Faithfold are a great team with Alex Levack and Mike Pearson very composed and difficult to contain. But we just weren't good enough on the day and a lack of desire and unity cost us massively. We have to pick ourselves up."

Mike Winehouse Redbridge B exacted revenge on Lions C in this relegation six-pointer.
There were goals for Dan Gordon, David Castle, Paul Bloch and Winehouse himself.
Shai Davidi had put the Lions in front.
Winehouse told JC Sport: "We deserved the win today, and their keeper made a few great saves to keep the score respectable.
"They went one up with a great individual goal but it wasn't enough today.
"On to next week against Harmen. Today is worthless if we don't push on and get another result on Sunday."
Jamie Kyte, the Lions player-manager, told JC Sport: "I'm disappointed with yesterday's result. Once again it was a case of taking the lead and losing it. The first 60 minutes were very well fought and after they equalised our heads dropped. Richard Gold was excellent in the middle of the park and Shai Davidi's goal was sublime. Not many games left and we have to win at least four!"

Brixton's promotion challenge gathered momentum as they destroyed FC Team B at Clowes.
Braces from Dan Price and Alon Hershkorn plus one from Rob Blackman steered John Nitka’s men home in their first match in four weeks.
FC Team forged ahead through Adam Rose after 10 minutes, but Brixton dominated in the second half with Price scoring twice. But he turned from hero to villain after getting sent off for two cautionable offences.
Down to 10 men, Brixton made it 3-1 through Blackman, and they went on to score the goal of the game after some fine one touch football. Hershkorn scored two more in the last 10 minutes to finish off the match.
A proud Nitka told JC Sport: “All in all a fine second half performance bearing in mind we have one of the games of the season against Norstar next week.”
Team's misery was compounded when Matt Kendler picked up his first-ever yellow card.
Kendler said: "It's going to be the L'Equipe and Marylebone games which are the key."

Three goals from joint player-manager CHAIM GOTHOLD ensured that the Hornets had an enjoyable outing at Regent’s Park.
Moishe Noe and Akiva Zneimer wrapped up a comfortable victory.
Hendon joint-player-manager Gav Noe told JC Sport: "It was a well deserved win which also demonstrated the strength of our squad as a number of our players have only featured minimally this season."

L’Equipe put in a contender for result of the day as they shocked title-chasing Woodford with goals from Jules Bohm, Paul Rubenstein (2) and David Prager doing the damage.
It was a match that Alex Aviram, manager of a 10-man Woodford, will want to forget, despite two goals from Jerome Marks. They were reduced to nine men after Elliot Gold was sent off.
L'Equipe boss Gideon Chain told JC Sport: "After a long break, the entire team showed an inspiring combination of strength, resilience and ability today against one of the leagues better sides.
"We haven't had the best start to the season but we've now won two on the trot and confidence is high. Our determination to succeed is second to none and I have no doubt that our hard work will finally pay off."
Aviram told JC Sport: "I couldn't be more disappointed coming into the new year. This should of been routine win but with big injury problems and certain players showing no commitment was our failure today. To start a match with less then 11 men is an insult to all the players that turn up on a Sunday morning.
"To go in 2-2 at half time with nine men shows quality but it was lack of discipline that beat us today. Credit to E'quipe they took there chances and won the game.
"We have won two league titles and should be on our way to a third. The fact I am yet to start my strongest 11 frustrates me and my team. You will see at different Woodford from here on out I'm sure."

A rejuvenated Raiders C team stunned high-flying Hendon C into submission in West Hendon with JACK FRANKS going home with the match ball after steering them to an impressive victory.
Brother Harry Franks (2), James Franks and Newton put the icing on the cake.
Delighted Raiders boss Oli Shorts told JC Sport: "Today we played a perfect game. From our goalkeeper all the way to the two lads up top, the team just clicked. We made four signings during the winter break, the Franks brothers and Rich Abrahams, the latter joining me on the coaching side alongside Jonny Adelman.
"The three brothers made the difference scoring six between them, however everyone played their socks off and this was a real team performance. Can I nominate them all for team of the week? We can't get carried away with this win as It's only three points but we'll enjoy it whilst we can."
Hendon player-manager Avi Gelley told JC Sport: "Raiders were excellent and gave us a real footballing lesson."

Bilbaum boss Josh Ejdelbaum told JC Sport: "The first-half was an even game, but we faded a bit after half-time and Neasden took the advantage. Full credit to Louis from Neasden for managing to get the game to go ahead despite only finding out late on Saturday that the pitch was unavailable."

"Alex Sherr scored in 10 minutes from a rebound off the goalkeeper. I then unfortunately, playing in goal, let is an own goal off a corner, while jumping for the ball I did not get a good hand on it and popped into my own net!
"Their second goal was a penalty, fairly given.
"Overall I feel we battled for every ball and defended very well."
