A header from Josh Bentley earned leaders Hendon a hard fought win over Raiders at Hadley FC.
The match was delayed for 30 minutes to let the pitch thaw out, and it was the Hammers who flew out of the blocks with Ben Kon rifling home from a goal-mouth scramble.
A goal to the good at half time, Hendon lost keeper Russell Corin to injury in the second half and Raiders drew level when ref Robert Bernardout judged that Matt Stock had been pushed in the penalty area. Up stepped Mark Leader to expertly side-foot home the spot-kick past Hendon sub Michael Slavinsky.
Bentley had the final say, meeting Alex Gilbert pinpoint cross with a precision finish.
Raiders top-scorer Jacob Gold hit the bar late on but it was Hendon who took the points.

Two goals from Lee Bibring helped the Lions earn one of the results of the day as they overpowered defending champions Neasden at The Hive.

Lions manager Eilon Kennet told JC Sport: "With almost a full squad to choose from, its no coincidence that this was probably our best performance this season.
"If we can finally stay injury free and with more or less a full squad to select from, we can hopefully, finally kick start our season.
"The boys are still buzzing and celebrating, but one swallow does not a summer make and we need to do it all over again on Sunday or it counts for nothing. The difference this week, is that we can't wait for Sunday to come around soon enough."
Ben Joseph, one of Lions' goal-scoring heroes, told JC Sport: "A special mention must go to Eilon and Ricky Kennet, on behalf of all the boys who represent Lions A. During what has been a tough season with continuous injuries, losing Louis Basger and now Mike Pearson, those two have shown unbelievable passion, desire and love for this team - oh and "masterminded" a 5-0 demolition over our arch rivals."
Jamie Cole, the Neasden manager, told JC Sport: "We had a good first half and were unlucky to come in 1-0 down. Nothing went for us in the second half and it was a poor display.
"We will have to put this behind us and move on, and learn from our mistakes."

We knew that FC Team would be a really difficult game as they have a strong squad and had started the season really well. However, we defended as a team brilliantly limiting FC Team to only a handful of chances while we always looked a threat going forward. The team spirit is excellent and I am so proud of all the boys for the effort they put into the game."
FC Team player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "I felt we were very unlucky to lose. Both teams cancelled each other out and a draw would have been a fair result. The goal they scored was a clear foul on our centre back who had to go off with concussion after. It is disappointing to lose but I can't fault my team's effort and, if we had a bigger squad, we may have gone on on and one but with so many injuries we had no bench and three players played through the second half with injuries. Hopefully in the new year our squad will look much stronger. Well done to Raiders who defended really well."

Phil Peters, the Norstar manager, told JC Sport: "This was a deserved victory for Faithfold who clearly wanted it more than us as the game went on. Having led for so long, and then re-taken the lead after conceding a sloppy goal, we looked to be clinging on to the victory. But credit to Rob and his boys, they dug deep and exploited our tired legs in the last 15 minutes.
"If they can get that team out each week then they'll certainly be up there come the end of the season and will hopefully take some points of the other guys fighting for the title."

Aviram broke the deadlock with a stunning free-kick. Green clinched the points with a late second, beating the keeper after a through ball played by Aviram.
Woodford boss Alex Aviram told JC Sport: "It was good win in tough conditions. Considering I could only just field 11 due to injuries, I was happy. Hendon found it very difficult to break us down. It was a solid defensive display from us.
"Going forward we needed to improve but hopefully by next week I'll have my attackers back in full swing. It's been a frustrating season, I still am yet to field my strongest 11 men, but please god may this soon come."

Norstar B went goal crazy at Norsemen FC, recording a perfect 10 with goals from Josh Gaon, Adam Lipman (2), Adam Sanzer, Rafi Addlestone, Josh Green (2), Nick Benson, Jonny Kay and an own goal.
Catford's goals came through Josh Pater (2) and Yonni Bord.
Delighted Norstar boss Jonny Bunt told JC Sport: "It was a strange game this week, with the score not really a fair reflection on Catford's performance. That said, all three of their goals came from direct set-pieces (including a throw-in that went straight in) and in terms of 'real goals,' the score should have been 9-0.
"The game also included two shoo-ins for the Christmas Blooper DVDs with the miss of an absolute sitter and one of the finest own goals you will ever see.
"At 3-2 up just after half time, they were pressing, we looked exposed and we were done a big favour by one of the greatest own goals ever seen, when a sliding interception, 25 yards out flew into the top corner like a bullet. From there we still contrived to concede another silly goal, but throughout the game, with the ball on the deck, we were peerless and scored six unanswered goals all of which bore the hallmarks of our quick, aggressive, passing games.
"Numbers 1 through to 11 all deserve great credit, but special mention goes to forward Josh Green and man-of-the-match Adam Lipman for finally living up to his potential and performance in training."

Two goals from Richard Braham helped Neasden C complete an early season double over Jewventus, leaving player-manager Louis Taylor, the Jewve old boy, a very happy man.
In what Taylor described as "a great win for us against a good Jewventus team", it was the visitors who forged ahead when Taylor stole in behind the Jewventus defence, rounded the keeper and slotted home.
In periods of the first half Jewventus had plenty of the ball in the middle, without creating too many chances. When they did get a shot on target, goalkeeper Ed Bloom made a great save to keep NWN in the lead. Bloom was solid throughout and made a massive difference to the team as captain.
The second half saw NWN keeping the ball a lot better. Aron Lewis, who was excellent in midfield, dispossessed one of the Jewventus midfielders, rolled the ball to the side to Richard Braham curl in the second.
NWN looked in a bit of trouble when Dan Parnell was sent off for two bookable offences, but held firm until right at the end of the game when Jewve pulled one back through Oliver Weingarten.
However, substitute Joel Kanutin won NWN a penalty in the last minute that was duly converted by Braham for his second.
Taylor told JC Sport: "I have to make special mention for a man of the match performance to Alex Lewis at left back, who was solid and controlled throughout. There was not one player who did not perform out of their skin, I am so proud of my team."

Two goals from JC star man Adam Lenz ensured that Borehamwood overcame a gritty Raiders C in Hatfield.

Matt Greene and Ben Hart were the goal men for Raiders.
Oli Shorts, the Raiders boss, had mixed feelings at the final whistle. "Proud, angry and disappointed are words that describe my feelings after this game. Going three down after half an hour was extremely disappointing yet my team battled back and we came in at half time 3-2 down. The turning point was the start of the second half when we pulled it back to 3-3. The ref gave it but the linesman called it offside. It was a tight decision, but my anger was because the ref said to me before the game that he only wants the linesmen to call throw ins and corners. It seemed as though that statement became void as a free kick was awarded.
"In all fairness the Ref had a very good game today but the transparency and the need to talk the managers when these situation arise needs to be addressed. This is the second game in a row where the ref has given the goal for us and then gone back on his decision. It's hard to take as a manager. We never deserved to lose this game as i think we were the better team for 60 minutes, it was a shame we were three down after 30.
"Inter's fourth came with the last kick of the game after we had gone down to 10 men through injury. Credit to my players for giving it there all through out the whole game and with more performances like this we'll eventually get the luck we deserve. Although we didn't get any points I was so proud today."

Hendon player-manager Avi Gelley told JC Sport: "This was a highly satisfactory performance on a pitch that cut up badly. Benny Goldberg scored another hat trick and Michael Mendelsohn & Richie Cohen were excellent on the right wing.
"Steve Keller stood out though, he was omnipresent (a Brian Mooreism!) in central midfield, its great having him back, he broke up play and chased all game never letting Pinner settle."
Pinner boss Viv Emanuel said: "I was not present on Sunday, but I was informed our performance was shambolic. 9-1 against any team is an embarrassment.
"I shall be reading the riot act at training on Wednesday and on Sunday my players will be back to fight hard against a North West Neasden we know we can beat."
