JC Goal of the Week: the contenders - Nov 11

articlemain

WINNER: - Ryan Cole (Glenthorne Utd B) - GOAL 2 - no matter what's nominated it won't beat his second, a free-kick from full on 30 yards in a central position he stepped up and left-footed hit it with power and curl over the wall and into the top right corner. Absolutely superb and a whole team of keepers wouldn't have saved it!

NOMINATIONS

- Ryan Cole (Glenthorne Utd B) - GOAL 1 - cut inside from the right beating two players before striking a sweet left-footed shot over the Redbridge keeper from 20 yards

- Byron Watkins (Loughton Orient) - 25 yards out with outside of the foot

- Nick Haringman (Norstar C) - GOAL 1 - stunning overhead kick leaving the keeper no chance and the defence stunned

- Jonny Cutter (Lions B) - this goal personified the Cutter we see week in week out. Great footwork allowed him to take on two players on the right wing, before cutting into his favorite left foot. Then, from 30 yards out, he unleashed a powerful curling shot that found the top left hand corner leaving the keeper with no chance

- Bobbie Cousins (Oakwood A) - produced a piece of magic good enough to win the game, any other game, the charity shield - and even the grand national. Collecting the ball on his chest from 25 yards he thumped it on the volley with his left peg into the top corner with dip and swerve

- Conor Perlmutter (Southgate Harmen) - a delicate chip against UJIA

- Richard Silver (Camden Park) - GOAL 1 - a low drive from the tightest of angles

- Richard Silver (Camden Park) - GOAL 2 - a curled effort right into the top corner

- Rob Hershkorn (Camden Park) - broke the dealock against Chigwell with a great solo goal after leaving three men for dead

- Matt Geey (Oakwood B) - long-range thunderbolt
