articlemain

There were some brilliant strikes on week two of the JC MSFL season. Here is the pick.

WINNER

Yosh Radomsky (Los Blancos) - ferocious half-volley from fully 35 yards that flew into the top corner to put Los Blancos in front

--------------------------------

Week 2 nominations:

1. David Dinkin (NL Raiders B) - stunning Roberto Carlos-style corner, with the outside of Gilad Kestenbaum's boot, found Dinkin at the far post and he ghosted in to volley home

2. Mark Leader (NL Raiders A) - curled a delicious 30-yard free kick over the wall and into the top corner

3. Mike Hershman (NL Raiders B) - cool 20-yard curler left Stuart Simons with no chance

4. Jamie Wolfson (NL Raiders A) - following a flowing passing move, Wolfson held off his marker to place a cool finish into the far corner

5. Yosh Radomsky (Los Blancos) - ferocious half-volley from fully 35 yards that flew into the top corner to put Los Blancos in front

6. Josh Dagul (Brady B) - 30 yard screamer from Dagul which was decisive and won the game for Brady

7. David Wexler (FC Team C) - a great team move with one touch passing and a clinical one-touch finish

8. Gary Cohen (Montana Boca Utd) - sumblime finish after a dazzling run from Elliot Kennard. He slotted the ball over the goalkeeper from the left side outside the area

9. Sam Roth (Athletic Bilbaum) - some simple route one football saw the Roth brothers combine in fantastic fashion. Keeper Simon Roth cleared his lines with a monstrous kick deep into the opposition's half (after taking a detour past the international space station on its way). The defence were unable to put a head on it, and Sam ran onto the bouncing ball and from the tightest of angles on the left hand edge of the box steered a cracking shot across goal into the top right corner of the net

10. Jamie Weinrich (Boca Jewniors) - GOAL 2 - After some good passing down the right between Brett Schuman and Joel Levitt, the latter fed Weinrich who danced passed his marker down the right to cut back from a very narrow angle to finish into the far corner, Kanu style

11. Ollie Craig (LM Lions A) - superb goal racing clear of the Hendon backline, chesting the ball into his path before lifting expertly over the onrushing Hendon goalkeeper
