Israel ready for Dutch test

articlemain

Ra’anen Penn says Israel must improve if they are to overcame Holland in their 2015 World Cup qualifier tomorrow.

The Maccabiah champions will be boosted by the recent week’s 18-6 victory over Serbia in Belgrade, which consolidated its position at the top of Europe’s Division 2B.

Speaking ahead of the third qualifying round contest, Penn said: “We’ll have to be much better than we were against Serbia if we want to beat Holland."

Israel beat Luxembourg 26-12 away in the second qualifying round. Even if Israel upset Division 2A leaders Holland they will need to win two more games against teams from higher divisions to reach the finals in England.
