Israel call up for Brit pack

articlemain

Israel has called up three British players ahead of the Nations Cup match in Austria.

Eitan Humphrys and Guy Tyler, who both have Israeli mothers, play for Nottingham University and are in line for debuts. They will train with the Israel squad next week ahead of the match in Vienna next weekend.

Israel Coach Raanan Penn said: "We have been impressed with Eitan in the three or four training sessions he has had with the national team and in training with our leading club ASA Tel Aviv over the summer."

Matt Frankfurt, who played for Great Britain at the 2009 Maccabiah, is likely to keep his place in the team, having been a regular in Israel's solid start to the campaign.
