How little Mark and his pals aim to be a big hit in Denver

Maccabi GB's 44-srtrong squad is completing preparations ahead of a trip to Denver for the JCC Maccabi Games.

The delegation features 36 athletes and eight managers. There are high hopes for golfer Marc Brenner, 14, who is currently number two for his age in the county. Brenner is also the youngest junior vice-captain at Abridge Golf & Country Club. The Essex county squad member will become junior captain in October. The squad departs on July 29.

The delegation features 36 athletes and eight managers including Neil Taylor, the Manchester based athletics manager who was born in Belfast.

Swimmers from Glasgow, Manchester and Birmingham are featured in GB’s squad. Glaswegian Chloe Egelnick, Mancunian Annie Hyman, 12, the youngest in the group and Midlands based Hannah Nagar are among the athletes looking to bring home a medal.
