Hartsbourne made the most of home advantage as they enjoyed a stunning weekend of success at the Glancy tournament.

The hosts eased to victory in the prestigious Glancy Trophy to round off a perfect couple of days for Brian Gold's side.

The Glancy Trophy, which takes the lowest six gross scores out of the eight singles and combines them with the lowest three gross scores out of four in the foursomes, is the showpiece event of the Jewish golfing calendar.

And with the pressure on, Hartsbourne didn't disappoint as they recorded an overall score of 667 to take the title and spark scenes of celebration in Bushey.

"The tournament was a fantastic success," said Gold. "Everyone had a great time and our team played very well."

    Mark Posniak and
Conrad Jaffe were the stars of the opening day, helping Hartsbourne claim both the Coombe Hill Trophy and the Whitefield Trophy.

The pair's success rubbed off on the rest of the team, who also went on to lift the Sidney Obrart Cup and the Dyrham Park Trophy.

Hartsbourne dominated the team events, picking up the Lee Park
Trophy, Moor Allerton Cup and the Edmondstown Cup to take their prize tally to eight overall.

While the home side basked in their success, Alex Webster of Leeds JGS showed his talent with a stunning three-under par score of 68 to land the Hartsbourne Cup.

Richard Selby ensured WAGOS picked up the Potters Bar Bowl after carding an impressive round of 64.

Selby also combined with team members Hylton Gilbey and Russell Nathan to claim the Dunham Trophy after recording the lowest net in singles and lowest net in foursomes.

WAGOS also picked up the Abridge Cup and
Executive Cup, while Leeds JGS were victors in the Shirley Trophy in the gross combined foursomes and singles.
