Highgate & Muswell Hill 2-1 Hertsmere

Highgate & Muswell Hill won the Watford Friendly League Under 16 Green Division after beating Hertsmere. They came from a goal down to rally in the second half with strikes from Mitchell Green and Mark Jenkins-Rosen. The title was all the more rewarding after a disappointing campaign last season. Danny Moss — one of the summer signings — has been a revelation this year, linking up and forging a great relationship with 30-goal man Simon Moses.

The team’s defensive record of five clean sheet was another key factor. Manager Malcolm Laster said: “I’m very proud of the boys. To achieve the league title in only two seasons is just incredible. I would also like to thank the parents who have been a massive help to me this year.”
