A hat-trick from Hendon old boy Adam Hersh inspired Los Blancos to their third straight league victory to go three points clear at the top of the table.

Los Blancos came out the blocks slowly, and Hendon enjoyed the majority of the possesion in the opening 10 minutes.

A speculative effort turned onto the bar and back into the arms of grateful keeper Josh Cohen was the only chance of note in a scrappy start.

Blancos' first real spell of possesion resulted in a corner. Josh Caplin, whose delivery was superb all day, floated the corner into box and Hersh rose highest to power a header home.

Captain Hersh stamped his authority on the first half with a carbon-copy of the first goal 10 minutes later. The ex-Hendon pair combining effectively to virtually end the game as a competitive contest.

Hersh clinched the points in the second half, connecting with a cross from the right to power a half-volley left-footed into the roof of the net.

That was Blancos third hat-trick in as many league games and manager Minsky was heard fuming at the diminishing supply of match balls in the Blancos bag.

Hersh, Birnbaum, Caplin and Englesman all had decent opportunities to extend the lead but some good saves and poor shooting kept the score at three.

Hendon enjoyed some more possesion in the second half and forced a couple of straightforward saves from the whites keeper, Rafi Kon in particular pulling the strings for the reds.

However, in the end it was a very comfortable win for Los Blancos, who have maintain their 100 per cent league record.
