Haifa face Genk in Euro tie

Maccabi Haifa will play Genk over two legs to earn a place in the group phase of this season's Champions League.

Having claimed a 3-2 aggregate win over Slovenian champions Maribor on Wednesday night, Haifa must now overcome a team that beat Partizan in the third qualifying round in the playoff round.

Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Tel Aviv reach the group stages of the Europa League last night but Beni Yehuda crashed out.

Maccabi hit Zeljeznicar Sarajevo for six at home to run out 8-0 winners.

Robert Colautti (2), Eliran Atar (2), Rafi Dahan and an own goal completed the rout.

Leading 4-0 from the first leg, Hapoel were beaten 2-1 by Vaduz with Omer Damari contributing an away goal.

Bnei Yehuda were unable to hold on to their slender first leg advantage, going down 3-0 against Helsingborgs.

Maccabi Tel Aviv will face Panathinaikos in the playoff round while Hapoel Tel Aviv take on Ekranas.
