Maccabi GB have named Brian and Helena Green as heads of delegation for next summer's JCC Maccabi Games.

The husband-and-wife team will lead the group of teenagers for the third consecutive year, with the 2012 Games held in Rockland, New York in August.

Brian Green said: "We look forward to building on the success of the last few years.

"We have already appointed a few of the managers and will start the recruitment process straight away.

Trials for the Under 14 football squad will take place on November 6 and 13 at Rowley Lane. Trials for other sports, including swimming and tennis, are expected to be held in November to enable managers to select their squad by mid-December.

Green said: "We are particularly pleased to follow-up on last year's success in taking an Under 16 Girls Lacrosse team and, for the first time in a few years, we will be taking a Table Tennis squad.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for many of the athletes to use these games as a stepping stone for the Maccabiah which is to be held a year later."

The following managers have been selected for the JCC Games which run from August 9-20. U14 Football: Scott Shulton and Jonathan Ellis, U16 Girls Lacrosse: Amy and Simon Ansell, Table Tennis: Ashley Stokes, Swimming: Rachel Grunwer
