Fulham to sign Omri

articlemain

Israeli teenager Omri Altman is set to sign a two year contract with Fulham.

Altman, who joined the Fulham Academy last year from Maccabi Tel Aviv, turns 18 in March and has established himself in the youth and reserve teams with impressive performances since moving to London. The midfielder is a former captain of the Israel Under 17 team and currently plays for the Israel Under 19 side.

Altman qualifies for a UK work permit because he also holds a Hungarian passport.

Maccabi Tel Aviv will receive 240,000 Euros from Fulham and the Israeli team could receive further payments, depending on the teenager's progress at Craven Cottage next season.
