The Maccabi Masters Division One title race was thrown wide open after lowly Temple Fortune A earned a surprise point against league leaders North London Raiders A.

Moroccan striker Yali Mamouri put Fortune ahead. Ashley Davidson levelled before Dean Ingram restored Fortune’s advantage. Raiders’ Ilan Cohen made it 2-2 as the Raiders edged two points clear.

A hat-trick from Greg Morris helped Glenthorne United A ease to a 7-4 win over Faithfold. Sid Shaw, Jason Lennard, Dave Michaels and Richard Goldstein completed the scoring. Adam Barton, Andy Hearn, Mark Klinger and James Bloom replied for the Superhoops.

An early goal from Ian Sumray was all that separated Clayhall A from Norstar in a close and competitive game in Division Two.

Glenthorne United B held Ashlodge to a goalless draw despite playing much of the game with 10 men following the dismissal of former Wingate boss Jon Bolle.

London Maccabi Lions B drew 4-4 with Brady Maccabi B. Roger Kay and Mike Lee had put Brady 2-0 up, and despite further strikes from Gary Rose and Tiggy Taylor, they had to settle for a point as the Lions hit back with goals from Paul Wise, Howard Freeman, Arthur Duke and David Price.
