ACCOUNTANTS LEAGUE DIVISION ONE
AFC FLIXTON 3 VIDA 0

AFC Flixton maintained their eye-catching start to the season after this routine win over Vida.

Rob Monetti, James Rosenberg and Adam Green were all on target for the table-toppers.

But Flixton joint-boss Stuart Delmonte insists nobody is getting carried away following the latest win.

"It was another good performance and comfortable win, but we realise it is still very early on," said Delmonte.

"We played against a good team but we never really like losing the game. Our second goal on the stroke of half-time deflated Vida.

"It was a fine sweeping move finished off by James Rosenberg. It gave us the breathing space fo the second-half.

"Next up is an away game against Barclays. But we will be facing them with confidence."
