Goals from Lee Bibring, Daniel Levenfiche, Jake Gottlieb, Danny Daggers and TJ Keterman eased North West Neasden A into the fourth round of the Sunday Challenge Cup for the first time after they hammered Caribb Club FC 5-1.

A penalty in extra time from Daniel Kent saw Division One leaders South Manx A upset Premier Division London Maccabi Lions B in the second round of the JC Cyril Anekstein Cup. Jamie Kent had given the Manx a seventh minute lead only for Danny Reuben to level things up.

Manx boss Jon Nitka commented: “It was a great team performance.”
Lions boss Gavin Stollar said: “Manx just shaded it over the 120 minutes. We wish them luck in what I expect to be a promotion winning season.”

Danny Kendall’s strike in extra time helped North London Raiders A see off a gallant effort from third division Hendon United C. Danny Bloom gave Raiders a second-half lead with his fourth goal in two games. Adam Hersh took the tie to extra time with a finish that rocketed into the roof of the net.

Jubilant Raiders boss Adam Fegan commented: “It was a typical cup game, Hendon played very well and made it difficult for us. We showed grit and courage to regain the lead.”

Hendon boss Zvi Noe commented: “I was pleased with our performance and felt we more than matched a good Division One team.”

Montana Boca United A claimed their first win in Jewish football this season with a 5-1 victory over Camden Park. Simon Hecker, Danny Myers, Darren Cohen, Simon Peterman and Trevor Henen eased them through. Gideon Barnett replied for Camden. Stefan Simons and Adam Carter helped Rapid Banta beat Division Two rivals Red Sea. Aron Jackson had equalised.

Three goals from Daryl Phillips plus one apiece from Tal Stern and Richard Baum helped Faithfold A come from two down to beat Bafana Bafana in the JC MSFL Premier Division. Dan Perkins and Jonny Kay netted for Bafana.

Second half strikes from supersub Ben Nassim and Alex Bourne helped Southgate Harmen A win the top-of-the-table clash against leaders London Maccabi Lions C in Division Two. Harmen boss Dan Uzan said: “We didn’t let them get into their stride.”

Eli Houri (4) and Sammy Kalms helped UJS Norstar move to within four points of top spot with a 5-2 success over Pinner JFC in Division Four. David Grossman and Jonathan Kay replied.
Charlie Bernstein, Nick Reisel, Eddie Lewin and Jonny Bruck steered Real Life to a 4-1 win over Team JLGB. Neil Lux scored a consolation.
