Five-star South crush Lawds

Jack Lee fired a spectacular hat-trick as South Manchester produced a five-star performance to see off Lawds.

Deprived of several first-team regulars through injury, South showed no signs of being overwhelmed by an array of new faces.

Without captain Mike Stratton and his regular centre-back partner Mark Addis, South brought in Simon Davies at the heart of the defence with Harvey Kaye dropping to right-back.

After dominating the first-half, South made the breakthrough just after the interval when Marc Yaffe smashed home from close-range.

That strike opened the floodgates with Lee’s treble and an Adam Lavin strike rounding off the scoring.

The win puts South second in the league, just behind unbeaten league leaders Miam Miam.
