Five-star Brady U15s off the mark

articlemain

St. Albans 1 Brady Maccabi 5

Brady Under 15’s registered their first win of the season away to St. Albans on Sunday, although the score did not reflect the difference in the teams other than Brady took their chances whilst their opponents failed to take theirs.

Brady were 4-0 up at half time courtesy of a goal direct from a corner from captain James Courtney and then goals from Jordan Harris, Ben Myers and Lawrence Rosenberg.

"St Albans had a number of chances but were either thwarted by some great saves by Gabriel Segall or they were just off target.

The second half was a more even affair with very few chances created. St. Albans pulled a goal back direct from a free-kick curled beautifully into the top corner but the four-goal margin was soon restored as Rosenberg broke away to round the keeper and slot home the fifth.

The Brady boys performed well and the man of the match was awarded jointly to Gabriel Segall and Marc Crown whose passing and tackling was superb throughout the game.
