England FC in charge

articlemain

Defending champions England FC maintained their grip on the Olim League title race with a hard-earned 2-1 victory over Ashdod.

England FC player-manager Yoni Sidi said: "This was our best performance yet and it looks like the new players are starting to gel. We should have killed the game off but fair play to Ashdod who have improved a lot and made it hard for us."

Aviv City ran out 4-1 winners against Modiin. Micha Gladnikoff put City ahead only for Matan Kroizer to equalise. Martin Udeani put City back in front and two late strikes set up by Adam Jaffe clinched the points.
