Engel steps down at Harmen

articlemain

Mark Engel has stepped down as manager of Southgate Harmen B.

Engel was in management with the club for two years, one as assistant to Dan Sasto and one as the manager.

Engel told JC Sport: "I enjoyed the challenge very much, and particularly last season where we survived relegation with eight minutes of the season to go. The players and the club have been wonderful however, I just can't dedicate the time to keep moving the club forward, due to work commitments.

"I will be leaving the management in capable hands of Marc Cohen. My future plans are not yet decided but I am sure I will be involved one way or other on Sunday mornings."
