FC Team A were presented with the Division Four title following an 8-0 routing of UJIA. Goals  from top-scorer Jonny Breger (2), Mitch Lassman (2), Mitch Young (2), Andy Sheena and Gideon Moss eased them  to an emphatic victory over UJIA .

Player-manager Mitch Young said: “The football we played was just sensational at times and the some of the goals we scored were out of this world. What a way to end  the season. I am very proud of everyone for delivering a performance like that in front of league chairman David Wolff.

“It was a very special day and one that I will never forget. We have been plagued by injuries to key players and where other teams would not have been able to cope, we chopped and changed things every week yet we kept winning and getting the results.

It really was a team effort and it shows a lot to say that not once did we manage to play our strongest 11, yet we are here as champions.”

Four goals from Michael Pearson condemned North London Raiders A to Division One football next season as they were thumped 8-0 by JC Cyril Anekstein Cup winners London Maccabi Lions A. Nick Goodman (2), Adam Lauffer and Ricky Kennet completed an 8-0 Premier Division rout.

Already-relegated Oakwood EDRS A bid farewell to the top-flight in a double header against Bafana Bafana. Fara Moghim was their matchwinner in the first contest but Bafana hit back with Adam Lawrence and Dave Ossack confirming a 2-0 victory.
