Early exit for Peer at French Open

articlemain

Shahar Peer crashed out of the French Open grand slam at the first hurdle after being outclassed by fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska in under an hour.

Peer was beaten 6-1, 6-1 as her miserable run of form continues.

And to make matters worse, Peer lost the title of no. 1 Israeli in the WTA rankings by Julia Glushko.

Glushko was another first-round casualty, going down against Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor of Spain 6-2, 7-5.

Jesse Levine of America was eliminated from the first round of the Men's Singles, going down in straight sets to 13th seed Kei Nishikori of Japan.
