Division 4 Team of the Year: profiles

Mitchel Ross (Glenthorne United B) - top cat Ross had the best return of any keeper in Division Four. Seven clean sheets capped an excellent campaign where he commanded his box and pulled off some stunning saves

Adam Levene (North West Neasden C) - the Doc is a big fish in a small pond in the bottom division but Neasden needed all his quality and experience in a high-class field. One of the best defenders in the MSFL, the bottom division was all the better for having him in it

Johnny Meltzer (Inter Borehamwood) - captain Meltzer led by example as the Wood boys completed a dream debut season with the pot of gold. Looks like the Peter Crouch of Jewish football but he can head the ball and boy did he do that to great effect!

Joe Grant (Glenthorne Utd B) - in the words of his manager, "the best centre back we've ever had at this club, and in division four". Adam Levene will have something to say about part two and part one is a big statement when you think about Rob Donn, Neil Zeff, Jon Diamond and Steve Faye, but Grant is more than worthy of his place in this team

Adam Speck (Blizzard Storm) - "every manager has mentioned how good Specky has been. I expect some other nominations for him. Best centre half in this division, also a fantastic skipper and his experience has proved vital in our chase for promotion"

Joe Levy (Inter Borehamwood) - edged out 20-goal teammate Jerome Colmans following a stunning season. Really came of age this season and you could see why Faithfold didn't want to let him go

Nicky Plotnek (Shirley Park) - 29-year-old midfield maestro showed the quality that made him a hit for Telford City and Maccabi GB. Pulled the strings to enable Gideon Gold and Jason Lindsay to hit the target almost 50 times between them. I will be surprised if he's in Division Four next season

Alex Rubin (Blizzard Storm) - exceptional first season at the club, only 22 and manager Simon Linden loves having him at the club. Scored some crucial goals including three against Glenthorne. Class act, can dominate a game from the centre of midfield

Dany Kon (Los Blancos) - started the season in central midfield, but finished it as a household name after scoring goals for fun. Established himself as the creative spark in Blancos team, in addition to having a keen eye for goal. As the season has progressed his natural finishing instincts became more apparent and moved upfront as the lone striker. Playing up top on his own, be it even against Premier League defences in the Cyril Anekstein Cup run didn't faze Dany in the slightest. 20 goals in 20 games for the 20 –year-old in his first MSFL season tells its own story, and it comes as no surprise that there will be a struggle on Blancos' part to ensure he is still in a white shirt come September

Fabio Revieccio (Glenthorne United B) - winner of the JC MSFL Golden Boot award with 33 league goals. Glenthorne B will do well to keep hold of the Italian Stallion next season

Jason Lindsay (Shirley Park) - you could not have asked for any more from the Red Mist who delivered goals by the sackful. Aided by the genius of Nicky Plotnik and the industry of Gideon Gold, Lindsay came up with the goods time and again and the fact that he passed the 20-goal marks triggered a bonus clause
