Marcus Jackson capped a man-of-the-match display with the winner for early pace-setters Maccabi Manchester Yellow in their 3-2 derby win against the Blues.

The Yellows led twice via Rafi Dines and Oli Grant but were pegged back on each occasion by Harry Magolis and Ben Gould for Jonny Rose's Blues.

But Jackson popped up with the second-half winner for Anton Radiven’s men.

Yellow boss Radiven said: "It's early days but we couldn’t have asked for a better start.

"We have added players to the squad this year. There’s more strength in depth which proved our downfall at times last season."
