Manchester Maccabi 1st cruised into the quarter-finals of the Brian Brockbank Rosebowl with a 3-0 win over Cotton Tree.

The fifth division side put up a good fight before substitute Rafi Leker set up Adam Lavin to put Maccabi ahead with 20 minutes left.

Cotton Crew had a man sent off before Leker doubled the lead. The impressive Adam Stevens won a penalty which was converted by Michael Sacks for the third.

Maccabi joint-manager Stuart Delmonte said: "It was only a matter of time before we scored our first and once we went ahead, the result was never in doubt."
