Goals from Ashley Davidson (2) and Jonny Summerfield helped North London Raiders move two points clear at the top of the Maccabi Masters League Division One as they beat Hendon Harriers 3-0.

The second division produced three results that all went against the form book. A hat-trick from Robert Botkai plus one from Allon Schick-Maier saw Temple Fortune end their losing streak with a 4-2 victory against previously unbeaten London Maccabi Lions. David Price and Julian Marks replied.

In the top versus bottom clash, EDRS Stonegrove were rescued with a last-minute equaliser in a 3-3 draw against Clayhall Park Casuals. Strikes from Bernie Hyatt, Nigel Grunberg and Brian Cowan gave CPC a 3-1 lead but table-toppers EDRS salvaged a draw with goals from Mark Kingston (2) and Gary Shaw.

Late strikes from John Seigal and Meir Velenski earned Ashlodge a 2-1 victory over South Mancunians B, for whom Darren Coon scored.

The Maccabi Masters Football League are once again sending a group to Israel to play in a tournament against teams from Argentina and the host country. The party is headed by MMFL chairman Stuart Lustigman, who said: "This is the sixth and largest tour delegation so far with some 35 players and supporters, most of whom have been on previous tours.

"We are taking two teams including some Israel based players but with four matches in six days we need all the help we can get."

Squad: Steve Brower, Allon Schick-Maier, Nigel Conway, Jon Holman, Malcolm Joseph, Adam Kern, Mark Kingston, Ian Leader, Tony Platman, Ian Sassoon, Sheldon Lee, Steven Lee, Arthur Duke, Marc Morris, Simon Lawrence, David Walton, Gary Grant, Phil Smith, Brian Donne, Brian Cowan, Geoff Isaacs, Stuart Lustigman (Ashlodge)
