articlemain

Here is my Team of the Week from Matchday 15 of the JC MSFL season.

1. BEN DE LA FUENTE ((Norstar A) – capped a brilliant performance with a vital penalty save against Brixton

2. JULIAN GERTNER (Los Blancos) – capped an exhilarating display with a goal of the season contender

3. ALEX NADLER (Hendon United Sports Club A) – took to the MSFL like a duck to water, and in a derby, noch. “A really impressive debut combining excellent distribution with good ball winning”

4. RICHIE CAPLIN (Redbridge Jewish Care B) – “a Rolls Royce at the back” in the win over in-form Raiders B

5. JONNY ELLIS (Brady Maccabi A) – “immense at the back and snuffed out everything FC Team threw at him”

6. AVIEL SCHWARZ (London Maccabi Lions A) – his experienced and tekkers were key in the cup win over Raiders A at Brunel

7. JAMES JOSEPH (Brady Maccabi B) – “played a different role, but was outstanding. Some fine touches and deserved his goal”

8. JONNY CUTTER (London Maccabi Lions B) – “his through balls sliced open the Glenthorne defence like a warm knife through butter. Unfortunately, for the all the great balls he put through, we only managed to get one goal in the first half - one taken very well by James Gold”

9. LEO FELDMAN (Camden Park) – “MOTM/hat-trick hero has been left out the squad for a while, but has worked hard in training and finally got his chance in the team and returned with a stormer”

10. DAVID COHEN (FC Team C) – hat-trick blew in-form Norstar C away

11. PAUL WALKER (FC Team B) – the stand-out performer in the away win at Glenthorne B
