Danny Caro's Team of the Week: October 21

articlemain

There were some simply sensational performances on Matchday 8 of the JC MSFL season. Here are my picks.

1. ED BLOOM (FC Team A) - “pulled off stunning saves in crucial moments” against Hendon

2. CAMERON MOST (London Maccabi Lions B) - “really good to have him back from uni this week. Solid and commanded his defence”

3. ADAM LEVESON (North West Neasden B) - brilliant display against Raiders B, capped off with a brace

4. DAN GROSSMAN (North London Raiders A) - “back to his imposing best. Organised the team expertly and is still claiming the own goal!

5. JAMES KORN (FC Team A) - “played through the pain, won every header and was immense at the back”

6. RICHIE CAPLIN (Redbridge Jewish Care A) - was up and down the wing all morning and didn't give the ball away once

7. DAVID COHEN (FC Team C) - “getting on the scoresheet with three goals, he also assisted another. A fantastic performance from Cohen who deservedly was handed the match ball at the final whistle”

8. ASHLEY BURNS (SPEC FC) - “the skipper was back to his imperious best. A wonder goal capping a tireless performance

9. BRAD WINE (Oakwood A) - “was devastating against Brixton, adding great balance and energy to the side”

10. JAKE GILBERT (Athletic Bilbaum) - “scored three very well-taken goals in quick succession midway through the first half against previously unbeaten Glenthorne B, as well as playing an instrumental role in the Baum attack throughout. In imperious form once more, linking up well with Green who continues to improve on his way back from injury”

11. DANIEL LASSMAN (Glenthorne United A) - capped a virtuoso performance with the winning goal in the top-of-the-table clash against Camden
