Danny Caro's Team of the Week: October 16

articlemain

Here are my star men from Matchday 6 of the MGBSFL.

1. MARC WOOLFE (NL Raiders B) - "had a really good 30 mins in centre midfield before an injury to David Simnock meant Marc donned the keepers gloves for the remainder of the game, pulling off a couple of really good saves"

2. TOMER WIEDER (Faithfold B) - "covered at centre back for the team and didn't step a foot wrong all day"

3. EYAL SAMOVICH (NL Raiders C) - "outstanding performance" against Hertswood Vale

4. JAMES KORN (FC Team A) - "first game of the season and boy have we missed him - commanding as ever"

5. SAM RANK (Redbridge JC B) - "changed the game and got the RJC B boys playing, and assisted the first goal for Richie Caplin"

6. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - "all round super game. Scored four excellent goals, was a constant threat offensively and worked hard for his team off the ball"

7. JAMES MANDELL (L’Equipe) - "scored a brilliant hat-Trick and was a real menace all game. Dominated the Mill Hill defence with his pace, skill and phenomenal left foot"

8. DEAN NYMAN (Redbridge JC A) - "a bully, a pest but more to the point, unplayable. He gave their back-line a real going over and fully deserved two goals and an assist (man-of-the-match against Lions)"

9. YOAV KESTENBAUM (Hendon Utd SC A) - "when he's on song he's one of the best in the league and today he was magnificent"

10. SAM CANTOR (Oakwood A) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

11. MICHAEL KENLEY (ML Lions B) - "scored two and made one. Was totally unplayable"
