articlemain

There were some stand-out performances on Matchday 10 of the JC MSFL season. Danny Caro picks out the cream of the crop.

1. DAVID SIMNOCK (NL Raiders A) - "great handling and some good saves to make sure Norstar couldn't come back into the game in the second half"

2. JAMES LEE (Brixton Old Boys) - the Brixton defence came under concerted pressure from Redbridge, but Lee played a key role to ensure they stood firm

3. ARI NEVIES (Hendon Utd SC A) - "his best performance in a Hendon shirt with a calm display at centre back in dealing with a number of difficult balls"

4. CRAIG PHILLIPS (Hendon Utd SC C) - "back from his golf tournament was a rock"

5. ROB KLEINMANN (AC Mill Hill) – "not one but two majestic free kicks into either top corner. Shame he can’t head one in though"

6. CRAIG COHEN (SPEC FC) - made his mark on the game against UJIA with a heroic hat-trick

7. ELLIOT ESPINOZA (NL Raiders A) - "marked Jonny Kay out of the game and even managed a goal and an assist"

8. MIKE BEABER (Brady Maccabi B) - "put in an outstanding shift from the first minute to the last. Didn't deserve to be on the losing team" against Neasden

9. DAN COHEN (SPEC FC) - made it a one-sided contest with three killer finishes

10. AVIDAN LAST (Hendon Utd SC A) - "an incredibly committed all-action display, including a superbly composed finish for thE all important opener"

11. ALEX ELF (Hendon Utd SC C) - hat-trick hero was immense in the 6-4 giant-killing of Shirley Park
