Danny Caro's Team of the Week: November 27

articlemain

Here is my Select XI from Matchday 12 of the MGBSFL.

1. BEN LAW (Scrabble FC) - "magnificent display against Scrabble, made three of four saves at point-blank range. Two of the efforts were from a few yards out and world class and somehow he got to them and saved his team on the day"

2. RYAN KRAMER (Mill Hill Dons) - "playing out of his preferred central midfield position, the vice-captain put in one of the best defensive performances of the season. He was calm and collected on the ball and made several crucial tackles. He kept the Boca strikers quiet all game and we will feel he deserved a clean sheet"

3. TOBY KATZ (NL Raiders B) - "another outstanding display of power and poise" against Scrabble

4. NATHAN ANDERS (ML Lions B) - "has come into the team aged 17 and was outstanding. First clean sheet of the season for us, he was awesome"

5. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "first half display in particular was one of the most complete midfield performances you'll ever see - topped with a superb individual goal. Currently the best player in this league"

6. MARK SMITH (L’Equipe) - "this man drove from Windsor in the morning, was made captain for the day and put in one of the best performances seen all season. Catford’s manager and the ref both said he stood out from minute one, he controlled the centre of the park and every pass went via Mark. He led from the front like a true leader does and without doubt should make team of the week!"

7. AARON SEARLE (Oakwood B) - "dominated the game and got a goal" against the Baums

8. CONNOR PERL (FC Team A) - retained his place in TOTW after a mesmerising performance against his former club, Maccabi London Lions, "set up the first goal with a quality no-look back-heel pass and then scored the winner with an unbelievable driven shot from a full 35 yards"

9. JOSH MARKS (Camden Park) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

10. JOE JORDAN (Redbridge JC B) - "- a great hat-trick today. A real menace on the pitch, with seven nut-megs during his performance and three brilliant finishes"

11. JORDAN SHARIFIAN (Temple Fortune) - one of the finds of the season, the young Israeli marksman capped a "superb performance with three goals"

PLAYER: Josh Marks (Camden Park)

MANAGER: Max Saunders (Camden Park)

REFEREE: Andy Myerson (Oakwood B vs Athletic Bilbaum - marked down as 200/200)
