articlemain

Here are the star men from Matchday 26 of the MGBSFL season.

1. JAMIE WARWICK (L’Equipe) - "emergency keeper was superb against title favourites NLR C. Handled everything that came in the box and so quick off his line that it ruled out every ball over the top. Gave the rest of the defence such confidence"

2. JAMES NEIDLE (Hendon Utd SC C) - "another commanding display from the Hendon captain"

3. ADAM CONWAY (Loughton Orient) - "great goal and great assist. Worked hard for the team and won the battle"

4. SAM JACOBSON (Oakwood A) - "got his team through a difficult opening spell and scored one free-kick and crashed the post with another. Tremendous performance"

5. ELLIOT GRANT (King Crown) - the star man in the win over in-form Fortune

6. JAMES ROSS (Jewdinese) - "didn't put a foot wrong the whole game and made important interceptions as well as crucial passed which helped 'Nese win the game. He also capped off the game with a goal"

7. ARI LAST (Hendon Utd SC A) - linked up superbly with Yoav Lebens - totally dominant against a tough Flixton team

8. DANNY COHEN (Southgate Harmen) - "has found his feet in the Harmen side and took all three goals well, especially the last. Linked up well with Sam Castle throughout and was a constant danger to the opposition. Near-perfect delivery from corners and free-kicks were an added bonus"

9. ADAM ARNOLD (NW Neasden) - "man-of-the-match - great skills in midfield and forward scored a vital first goal and was a threat against SPEC FC throughout"

10. BEN ELLIS (Faithfold A) - three razor sharp finishes kept his team's silverware hopes alive

11. NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC B) - "a masterclass in finishing and overall dominance"
