articlemain

1. ED BLOOM (FC Team A) - “commanding, great saves - helped the team when under pressure has to be the best Jewish keeper around at present - stunning performance”

2. GAVIN SHERMAN (UJIA) - a tower of strength in the shock win over Glenthorne B

3. ZAK PRESKY (Brady Maccabi A) - immense at the back against Neasden A

4. ADAM LEVINE (Oakwood) - see JC Player of the Week

5. ILAN SCORAH (Oakwood) - an absolute rock, alongside Adam Levine. Arguably the best partnership since Morecambe & Wise

6. LAURENCE ROSENTHAL (SPEC FC) - “scored, cleared one off the line and made countless tackles. And all with a bad back”

7. JOSH DAGUL (Brady Maccabi B) - player-manager led by example with a brilliant brace in the win over Temple Fortune B

8. DAVID SHAMASH (Norstar A) - “troubled the defence from the moment he stepped on the field and terrorised the Brixton right-back with a tricky display”

9. RICHARD SALMON (FC Team A) - “held the ball up, gave Michael Sacks a torrid time all afternoon, came back to defend every set piece and was immense

10. PAUL WALKER (Temple Fortune A) - “was magnificent. His job today was to close down their danger men, get stuck in, and if possible get forward when he could. Not only did he do the first part superbly, he also popped up with two crucial goals to put us in the driving seat. He will certainly feel this in the morning as he covered a ridiculous amount of ground! A real captain's performance”

11. SAUL CONWAY (Shirley Park) - a fab four-goal salvo in the 5-1 demolition of Blancos has taken to within one goal of the JC MSFL Golden Boot leaderboard

JC MANAGERS OF THE WEEK
