Danny Caro's Team of the Week: January 6

articlemain

There's a nice blend of youth and experience in my first team of 2013.

1. JORDAN DAVIDSON (Glenthorne A) – steered his team back to the summit of Division One with a commanding performance and clean sheet against Harmen

2. JAMES SANDLER (Southgate Harmen) – “outstanding against Glenthorne”

3. NICK LANDESBERG (London Maccabi Lions A) – “superb at the back as well as in front of goal”

4. ROB KAPLAN (North West Neasden A) – capped a great performance, alongside NWN legend Jon Kaye, with the winner against Faithfold B

5. RYAN FOX (Brady Maccabi A) – “didn’t let anything past him against Faithfold”

6. JOSH GILBERY (Temple Fortune A) – “should have been in TOTW on Matchday 16 and HAS to be this week. Covers every inch of grass and won the midfield battle to provide the basis for Fortune to go on. The unsung hero!

7. DOVID KORMAN (Hendon United Sports Club A) – “a briiliant performance capped off with two fine goals”

8. NATHAN HARROD (Brady Maccabi B) – “was brilliant once again, completely running the midfield and fully deserved his first Brady goal”

9. ASSI AVITAL (UJIA) – the matchwinner in his team’s first win of the season, dented Hendon B’s promotion hopes in the process

10. JOSH RUBIN (Oakwood A) – a terrifically energectic performance capped with a goal in the Herts Junior Cup

11. ASHLEY BURNS (SPEC FC) – “1 goal, 2 assists and 3 despairing centre mid opponents. Glorious”
