Danny Caro's Team of the Week: February 3

Wherever you looked, there were heroes in league and cup on Matchday 21 of the JC MSFL season.

    1. David SIMNOCK (NL Raiders A) – He does what he wants, he does what he wants, super Simmo, he does what he wants. That was the chant from the Raiders fans after Simnock came up trumps in the penalty shootout against FC Team. He saved three and his brave block in open play to deny Salmon was to die for

    2. Richard GOLD (Redbridge JC B) – the latest off the Jacobs’ production line and what a cracker Gold is. Capped a brilliant display with the winner against FC Team

    3. Guy FENTON (Camden Park) – ensured his team reached the last eight of the Jewish FA Cup with a typically commanding performance against Liverpool

    4. Jon RAVEN (Chigwell Athletic) – how his manager and teammates have missed. Excelled against Republic of Flixton as though he’d never been away. “Didn’t lose a header, organised, sheer class and if still living in London "we would be in the top two, that's how highly he is rated at Chigs"

    5. Alon BLITZ (Hendon United Sports Club B) – did exceedingly well against title-chasing Glenthorne A

    6. Paul BABAI (Faithfold A) – it’s great to see him back in Jewish football following injury, and he’s teammates are as happy as Larry. Bossed the game against E.Y International and he might just have timed his comeback to perfection …

    7. Ben JOSEPH (Brady Maccabi A) – “man-of-the-match by a country mile in the routing of Lions, ran the game and it was a shame he never got on the scoresheet”

    8. Jason DAVIS (Brady Maccabi B) – “driving force behind the comeback, with a passionate and spirited performance”

    9. Jake GILBERT (Athletic Bilbaum) – “once again proved to be SPEC's tormentor with a rampaging performance resulting in another hat-trick

    10. MIKE PEARSON (Faithfold A) – kept his team’s quadruple hopes alive with a stunning hat-trick in the LFASIC quarter-final. Has a habit of being in the right place at the right time. Sickening, isn’t it!

    11. David COHEN (FC Team C) – peerless, fearless and dare I say faultless again
