Danny Caro's Team of the Week: December 15

articlemain

The final MGBSFL Team of the Week of 2013 has some real star quality.

1. Daniel Kosky (Faithfold B) - "pulled off some great saves" in the impressive win at Mill Hill

2. Jerome Marks (Woodford Wanderers) - put in a typically energetic shift in the demolition of SPEC FC

3. Noah Bier (AC Whetstone) - tribute from Faithfold C's Dan Gordon (2nd top scorer in league) - "Noah Bier - the 16-year-old centre back is by far the best defender in this league, he reads the game so well and plays the game like he has been playing men's football for 10 years, not six months. A truly great defender”

4. Adam Conway (Loughton Orient) - "rock solid performance at the back and scored a lovely header to give us the lead as well as an assist for the third goal" in the 3-0 win over high-flying Catford & Bromley

5. Yoav Lebens (Hendon United SC A) - "absolutely immense in the middle of the park, including 2twofabulous assists"

6. Matty Kleinman (Faithfold B) - was "immense" in the 2-1 success at Mill Hill

7. Ben Joseph (Brady Maccabi A) - " showed his class as he ran the game from the centre of the park" against runaway leaders NLR

8. Nathan Sollosi (Redbridge JC B) - "one word - unplayable"

9. Ben Winters (London Maccabi Lions White) - "ran the game scored a great well moved goal with a one-two and for 16 years old was head and shoulders above the rest. Played left mid and right mid in the game. Really was unreal" in the 2-0 victory over title-chasing Redbridge

10. Sam Castle (Southgate Harmen) - "four well-taken goals and three assists. Played like a real leader up top and didn't stop running. Great all-round performance" against Blancos

11. Richard Fogelman (L’Equipe) - "is now owed a club schnitzel" following his latest heroics - a hat-trick against King Crown. The marksman told JC Sport: "It was the best I've played all season". And after a couple of Tony Yeboah-esque efforts, he added: "Even Laurence Thorne said he hadn't seen a goal like that for a while!"
