Danny Caro's Save of the Week: November 18

articlemain

WINNER: - Jake Freedman (Norstar C) - a cross from the left fell perfectly to Lewis Mahler who put it back across the keeper from 10 yards. Somehow, he got a strong hand to it to push it against the bar and it was cleared to safety. A top, top save to keep it at 1-0

-------------------------------

- Mike Myers (FC Team C) - stretched full-length to his left to keep out a curling shot destined for the bottom corner

- Michael Mirelman (SPEC FC) - a bout of Mirelmania broke out when the keeper majestically tipped an outrageous free-kick onto the bar before further fine handling from a series of tricky crosses

- David Landau (Brady B) - a fantastic instinctive save with his team trailing 1-0 against Raiders B. They went on to win 2-1

- Marc Jacobs (Loughton Orient) - a shot from 25 yards was heading for the top corner and Jacobs flew up to get a hand to it and tip it round the post

- Ryan Monk (Boca Jewniors) - used his model like face to make a point-blank save. His manager, Jamie Weinrich, told JC Sport: "Ryan made a stunning save using his face. Unfortunately due to this, his contract with Vogue magazine has now been torn up"
